I’m having one of those “I’m 32 and am I on the right course” kinda days. I decided to map out what’s important to me long term. Here’s what I’ve got so far:

What’s Important

Anybody got any comments?

I’ve been really frustrated with Firefox on my Mac.It’s been slow and crashing. Just for fun, I’m going to forget Firefox for today and work all day in Safari. There’s one word for it right off the bat:  FAST. I didn’t realize how slow Firefox on the Mac really is until I fired up Safari.  Yikes!

I came to my senses finally and just switched back to Wordpress permanently.

It’s easy, and it stays out of my way. Plus it’s easy to export my content down the road.

Sorry for all the trouble with this…

I woke up this morning with another problem with the Mephisto blogging system that this blog runs on. Imapenguin’s blog is on typo, which I love, but I took a chance with Mephisto for this one.

The developers stopped working on it last year, and I’ve been frustrated with it for a while.

I’m switching back to blogger, and going to painstakingly repost everything here.

It will still be at www.michaeldoornbos.com, but you’ll have to resubscribe to the RSS feed :-(

Thanks for your patience. I plan on making the switch today.

You live your life in a free form, artistic style.
You are incredibly creative and at times, quite messy.
Deep down, you are a kid at heart. And you aren’t afraid to express it.

On Friday, I started a long term exercise program. After we moved last December I really got out of my rhythm and it degraded to not working out at all.

That being said, I’m in that 2 week “oh man am I sore” stage.

I could use some encouragement along the way if you feel so inclined. And ice packs maybe.

I got in my car this morning at 7am. It was already 87 degrees.

I think today maybe I should work from a pool…

What do you do when you’re in Disney World for business without your kids?

After you’re through scoffing at the people you are with for going out drinking while you didn’t who are now puking (still) at 10:30 in the morning…

Well first, you imagine your kids with you. Then you vow to take a trip here with them at the first opportunity.

Then, when in doubt, ride the Monorail!

We were going to the Yankees/RedSox game a few weeks ago and saw this guy practicing the trumpet on the GW Bridge. Too funny:
